PANORAMA – The Portuguese Documentary Showcase – established itself as a moment to think, discuss and ponder the documentaries produced in Portugal and by Portuguese people. Each year the Showcase explores the contemporary scene, as well as filmographies which built the history of Portuguese documentary.
In this 9th edition, PANORAMA implodes all its sections and borders, giving it a wider perspective as the panorama definition itself. With no distinction between a contemporary exhibition and an historical retrospective, the films will dialogue, allowing us to think and look at the present from the past, and vice-versa. Without a permanent location, PANORAMA will draw a route across Lisbon, going beyond the conventional screening venues.
